Karma? or Coincidence?

Being John Malkovich was a weird movie. Who would want to enter the mind of another man to control him to have sex with the girl of your dreams you have no chance with. Or control the mind of a man to have sex with a girl because you have lesbian tendencies. Let alone the two that had these weird ideas were married to each other. This movie was just weird.

If there were a hole in the wall to my brain I would be pissed. I would not want someone controlling my actions because they have teleported to my brain. So much shit you could get away with if that was possible. One what Craig and his wife Lotte did, have sex with people. You could get away with any crime because it would be the person’s fault whose mind you are controlling. That is scary.

After Lotte enters Molkovich’s mind and has sex with Maxine, Craig feels abandoned by both women so he locks up his own wife so he can reenter Malkovich to have sex with Maxine. Lotte then escapes and confesses to Maxine what was going on.

Craig then finds out he can stay in Malkovich’s mind and turns Malkovich into a world famous puppeteer. Wouldn’t people realize that Malkovich wasn’t being himself? But then his threatened to leave Malkovich’s mind and does.

Maxine conceives from Malkovich who was at the time being controlled by Lotte. So Lotte and Maxine become partners and take care of the baby because Maxine believes its Lotte’s. What? It would be Malkovich’s.

Craig realizes that Lotte and Maxine are together he reenters Malkovich but the portal did a time relapse and now enters the mind of Maxine and Lotte’s baby. Craig becomes trapped. Forced to watch the two woman live happily ever after.

This story sounds a lot like Karma and not to ever take shit for granted. If your married to someone you don’t treat them like crap because your unhappy. Now he is forced to live a life watching his wife and the woman of his dreams live happy lives together. That’s what you get.

Dream World

Paprika was really weird and enjoyable. I am not one to like anime movies but this one was pretty good. I like the whole dream feel storyline of it.

I have to say it does remind me a little of the new Freddy Krueger movie, Nightmare on Elm Street. How the dream life starts to become a reality and there is no controlling it. With my horror mind I couldn’t help but think of Freddy Krueger. Although Paprika is more interesting due to the variety of weirdness but Freddy Krueger is amazing so you can’t really compare.

Paprika is interesting because a dream world is something that fascinates me to no end. I have a lot of weird dreams myself. Some weird, some strange, some gory and some ridiculously scary. If I got trapped in my dream world I would probably die within five seconds they are so crazy sometimes.

I also believe dreams to be kind of subliminal messages to yourself. My dreams are so powerful that I actually started researching them and they actually fit to my mood. I had a dream one time of three giant spiders sitting in a web staring at me. Each spider very distinct and I can still remember them to the T. Apparently multiple spiders sitting in a web foretells most favorable conditions, fortune, good health, and friends. How having a dream about spiders would interpret to that? I have no clue but that’s what it means. Dreams are like signs or messages coming through to you.

Paprika also reminds me of Inception. Inception also uses experimental dream sharing. Inception is more for finding out information but still kind of the same concept.  Inception is a lot more powerful because it isn’t an animation is a live footage movie with effects.

It would be kind of crazy if the government or whoever actually created a machine to be able to jump inside our dreams. It’s kind of like that SpongeBob episode where SpongeBob jumps in and out of everyone’s dreams. We would really never have any privacy. I would probably go to jail with all the messed up crazy dreams I have. Probably from watching way too many horror movies.

Futuristic Predictions

Five years from now it doesn’t really seem like anything major will change. Maybe our technology, like phones and computers. They said back in the 90’s that by 2000 we were going to have hovercrafts as our mobiles. We still do not have that.

In ten years, we might have come up with something drastic like cloning machines but I doubt it. They still don’t even have cures to sickness. Maybe they will solve that. Generations below me will definitely have gotten worse. Kids are more into technology at a younger age. Obesity will probably at a higher rate.

Someone was telling me one day that the earth is changing from more negative to a positive. That we are all going to witness a major change. So maybe everyone would be more happy and the world would become a better place.

In 20 years, the world will definitely be a different place. We will probably have hologram TVs and virtual realities. Teens these days are more provocative. I can’t imagine what it’s going to be in 20 years. Children are going to be having babies at 10 years old and it will be normal.

The styles will definitely change. I look back on the different hairstyles and the clothes I used to wear/have when I was younger. It’s a big change.

I hope in the future that I have my dream job. Hopefully something new comes out like realistic 3D movies to where you are in the movie are invented and I can be apart of that. My dream is to be a 3D modeler. I hope to create amazing models just like in the new movie Godzilla that’s coming out. I hope to have my dream home. Maybe then houses will be built floating on the clouds. I hope to be married with an amazing husband and three kids.

In 50 years, I don’t really think I’ll know what that is. I don’t see myself getting old so I don’t believe I will be alive at 71 years old. I’m sure that the earth would be shifted by then if not blown up. Sea level is rising, toxins are released in the oceans, and global warming is killing off life.

Hopefully in the matter of 5 years, the earth will shift in a 90 degree positive direction.
